Organisation Description:

This school is a non-profit ministry, which provides a quality Christian education for the children of Christian workers and lay persons in the capital and surrounding area. The course of study is based on an American curriculum. We also use the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage to enhance our children’s educational experience.

The school provides classroom instruction for grades K-12 and has 128 students enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year. The class sizes range from 4-20 students.

Job Description:

The Head of School supervises expatriate and national teaching and support staff. Currently, there are five staff on the leadership team, 32 full-time and part-time teachers, and 18 support staff. The Head of School directly supervises the Elementary Principal and the Secondary Principal who are responsible for the daily job assignments and supervision of their designated staff members.

The Head of School will carry out their professional and personal life in harmony with the school’s vision and mission statements and will model Christian character and integrity for school staff, students and their families.

Person Description:

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in education or administration and have at least five years’ experience as a Christian school administrator in an American curriculum context. They will be a native speaker of English and will meet ACSI [Association of Christian Schools International] and/or State certification requirements. They will be sponsored by a recognised sending agency. International and cross-cultural experience will be an advantage.
