Job Description:

We have always placed a priority on using technology and believe that a well-run information system helps us improve our focus and effectiveness in our mission of providing clean water. The Technology Coordinator uses expertise in hardware and software to develop and maintain the organisation’s technology resources. They work closely with management and end users to support accurate collection, data-focused decisions and awareness of organisational performance. While the role requires deep understanding in IT/IS and programming, it also expects a broad range of general ability and adaptation, to independently address a variety of needs in an atypical environment.

Person Description:

Ideal qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems or a related discipline and two or more years’ experience in software development. You will have skills in a variety of programming languages, in JavaScript frameworks, relational and NoSQL databases, Android mobile app development, DevOps practices, unit testing and Google technologies (especially App Script, Google Sheets, AppSheet and Looker). You will have an analytical mindset with both critical and creative thinking. You will be detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. You will be a continuous learner, demonstrating cross-cultural sensitivity and the ability to work well either alone or with others. – Job ID 1840
