Organisation Description:

This educational programme provides a blend of classroom, home and distance education for teenage MKs. It reduces stress and difficulty for families serving in hard places by providing core subjects (maths, science, and English) for MKs. It helps MKs to thrive by providing community, godly examples and solid academic teaching flowing out of a biblical worldview.

Job Description

Our most urgent requirement is for a Maths teacher! We also need teachers of science and English.

The Middle and/or High School teacher will manage from 1 to 4 classrooms over 1-2 weeks per month, for 9 months of the year. For 2-3 weeks per month the students will be at home, but the teacher will mark, grade and prepare lessons, provide opportunities for instruction (as needed), communicate with students and their families and get involved with the local culture.

Person Description:

The teacher will enjoy educating teenage MKs and helping them grow in Christ. They will be organized, hard-working, flexible, excellent in both written and oral communication and fluent in English. They will be proficient in basic computer and word-processing skills, and familiar with their subject matter. Teaching experience and a bachelor’s degree are recommended but not required.
